88 Chicken is my favourite original Korean fried chicken in Singapore. It is owned by Koreans and it is located at Potong Pasir. Other than fried chicken, 88 Chicken also serves yangnyeom chicken, soy chicken, army stew (budae jjigae), sundubu jjigae, seafood pancake, etc.
You will be served with complimentary kimchi. The kimchi are very fresh and it is not too spicy.
Original Korean Fried Chicken
This is the star of the dishes. The original fried chicken is very crispy and tender. It is served hot on your table. The chicken is very fresh and juicy. Hands down this is the best original fried chicken I have tried in Singapore.
Kimchi Jjigae
We also ordered the kimchi jjigae which is a classic soup dish in a Korean restaurant. It is a bit more spicy compared to other kimchi jjigae I have encountered in Singapore. Overall, it is a good dish to order.
